Public invited to offer input on draft strategy to enhance navigation across Richmond

Richmond is advancing its long-term Wayfinding Strategy aimed at simplifying navigation for both residents and visitors, whether by walking, cycling, or public transit. The draft Community Wayfinding Strategy is ready for public review, inviting input until December 18. Mayor Malcolm Brodie stated that the draft, incorporating public feedback, includes guiding principles, strategic recommendations, and design framework. He urged the Richmond community to further influence the final version, enhancing accessibility and community pride. Wayfinding will involve directional signs, landmarks, and highlight city attractions. To participate, visit LetsTalkRichmond.ca/Richmond-wayfinding for information and a survey or request a printed version via email or phone. The survey deadline is December 18 at 11:59 p.m. The compiled feedback will guide the final strategy, expected in late winter 2025.
