Landscaping Enhancements and Facade Differentiation for Two Duplexes

The Development Permit Panel reviewed and approved the construction of two front-to-back duplexes at 6531 Francis Road. The design includes shared vehicle access, differentiated roof shapes and colors, and private yards. Following discussion regarding landscaping and facade differentiation, the applicant agreed to incorporate high evergreen hedges and varied window styles to improve the street appeal. The project also includes a servicing agreement, arborist contracts, and meets BC Energy Step Code Level 3 requirements.
