Revised Steveston Historic Sites Building Committee Terms of Reference

Updated Scope and Membership for Heritage Projects

The Steveston Historic Sites Building Committee’s Terms of Reference have been revised to reflect the completion of the Steveston Tram, the creation of a separate First Nations Building Committee, current and upcoming work at Britannia Shipyards (including envelope restoration and a Site Concept Plan), and anticipated future work at Scotch Pond. Key changes include an updated project list encompassing Britannia Shipyards Envelope, Seine Net Loft Envelope, Japanese Duplex Renewal, Phoenix Net Loft, Britannia Shipyards Site Concept Plan, and Scotch Pond. The staff liaison is now the Director, Arts, Culture and Heritage, and the Code of Conduct has been updated for consistency. The revised Terms of Reference were unanimously endorsed by the Committee in January 2025.
