Key Accomplishments in Arts Programming, Community Engagement, and Facility Development
The 2024 Arts Services Year in Review highlights significant achievements in Richmond’s arts and culture scene. Key accomplishments include the opening of the Richmond Cultural Centre Annex (RCCA), a new hub for arts programs and community rentals, and upgrades to the Media Lab within the RCCA. Various programs saw increased participation, such as the Richmond Youth Media Program (RYMP). Numerous events, including the Steveston Salmon Festival, Richmond Maritime Festival, and Children’s Arts Festival, were successful.
