Richmond Civic Services will observe the following statutory holidays in 2025, during which facilities will be closed and will resume operations at 8:15 a.m. the next working day: April 18, April 21, May 19, July 1, August 4, September 1, September 30, October 13, November 11, December 25, December 26, and from December 29, 2025, to January 1, 2026. While City Hall is closed, many services remain accessible around the clock via the City of Richmond’s website at richmond.ca or the MyRichmond app, which provide various online payments, interactive tools, and data searches. City functions such as parks, recreation, and cultural centers will maintain operations during most holidays, with their hours available at richmond.ca/HolidayHours. For urgent issues like broken water mains or traffic lights out, contact the City’s 24-hour Emergency Line at 604-270-8721. Stay informed by following the City on social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Bluesky. The Richmond Recycling Depot will also observe closures on statutory holidays, reopening the next working day at 8:15 a.m. Garbage and recycling collection schedules can be checked via the Richmond Recycling app or richmond.ca/recycle.
