RICHMOND, BC (June 24, 2025) — A female driver is facing penalties after her Lexus SUV rolled over following a collision in Richmond’s Terra Nova neighbourhood on Sunday night.
RCMP were called to the scene around 9 p.m. on June 22, where they found the SUV on its side near Barnard Drive, just south of Terra Nova South Park. Investigators say the driver hit a parked vehicle—occupied at the time—causing the Lexus to flip onto its passenger side.
The driver, who was alone in the vehicle, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Richmond Hospital for medical assessment. No one else was injured in the crash.
Police allege alcohol was a factor in the incident. As a result, the woman’s driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle was impounded for 30 days. Several violation tickets under the Motor Vehicle Act were also issued.
