A week full of activities celebrates the 2SLGBTQI+ community
Celebrate Pride Week in Richmond from Monday, July 28 to Sunday, August 3 with various free, all-ages activities including film screenings, fitness classes, Drag Queen Story Time, and Karaoke.
“The City of Richmond invites everyone to recognize and celebrate 2SLGBTQI+ communities during this year’s Pride Week events,” said Mayor Malcolm Brodie. “Our 2025 theme, Pride Lives Here, highlights Richmond’s commitment to inclusion.”
The Progressive Pride Flag will be displayed at City Hall to show solidarity and support for Richmond’s 2SLGBTQI+ communities.
Over 15 Pride Week events are presented by the City of Richmond and Richmond Public Library, in partnership with Community Associations and Societies.
Some highlights of the events include Eddy Boudel Tan’s author talk, Drag Queen Karaoke, and True Voices: Pride Storytelling & Tea. Registration is required for some activities.
