City of Richmond seeks public input for updated arts strategy
The City of Richmond is soliciting community feedback as it prepares to update its Richmond Arts Strategy for the upcoming five years. With the current strategy nearing its end, citizens are encouraged to engage in the discussion.
Residents can participate in several ways: By visiting the sounding board at the Richmond Cultural Centre during the Culture Days kick-off on September 21 and 22, by completing an online questionnaire at LetsTalkRichmond.ca by October 13, or submitting a printed questionnaire available at the Richmond Cultural Centre. Feedback can also be emailed to culture@richmond.ca.
Developed through broad community collaboration and backed by a diverse 25-member Task Group, ArtWorks: Richmond Arts Strategy 2019–2024 received City Council approval on July 8, 2019. The document outlines a vision where Richmond’s vibrant arts scene enriches daily life through education, experiences, festivals, and events while promoting social connections, wellness, and leadership in arts and culture.
