Richmond United Football Club (RUFC) is proud to announce two key sponsorships for the 2025 season, strengthening its commitment to community engagement and youth development.
Sandhar Trucking: Driving RUFC Forward
Sandhar Trucking, a family-owned Richmond-based company, which joined RUFC as Platinum sponsor in 2024, has continued – and strengthened – it’s support in 2025.
With over 35 years in the trucking industry, Sandhar has grown from a single-truck operation to a national large fleet carrier authorized to access all major ports and rails in Greater Vancouver. Their 175,000 sq ft facility supports daily container trucking services to and from key locations like Deltaport, Vanterm, Centerm, Fraser Surrey Docks, CN Rail, and CP Rail.
Having previously served as the Title Sponsor for the 2023 Richmond Thanksgiving Tournament, Sandhar’s commitment deepens this year as their logo will feature prominently on the front of all RUFC match and training jerseys once more, as well as the new spring jerseys – and they’re also supporting RUFC’s new Seniors Walking Soccer program. This partnership underscores Sandhar’s dedication to supporting local initiatives and fostering community spirit.
Coho Collective: Nourishing Community Through Soccer
Continuing its valued partnership, Coho Collective remains a steadfast supporter of RUFC’s community outreach. Known for operating commissaries and ghost kitchens across British Columbia, Coho sponsors the club’s community partnership program with the Richmond Food Bank. The Coho Soccer Program offers a 7-week initiative that includes training, games, shirts, and meals, ensuring every child in Richmond has the opportunity to play soccer, regardless of financial circumstances
In recognition of their ongoing support, Coho’s logo will adorn the sleeve of all RUFC match and training jerseys in 2024. This collaboration highlights Coho’s commitment to community well-being and youth empowerment through sport.
