Lime Technology, Inc. selected for three-year contract; focuses on safety, sustainability, and equitable access.

The General Purposes Committee approved a recommendation to award Contract 8375P for a public shared e-scooter and e-bike program to Lime Technology, Inc. This three-year contract (with two optional one-year extensions) prioritizes no cost to the City, safe and well-maintained vehicles, adequate coverage, and effective impact mitigation. Lime’s proposal, selected from three received, scored highest based on criteria including qualifications, pricing, safety, parking management, marketing, technology, consumer protection, and sustainability. The program will maintain the existing fleet size (with potential expansion) and service areas, incorporating features like geo-fencing for parking and speed limits, helmet provision, and the Lime Access affordability program. Anticipated annual revenue for the City is approximately $20,000.
