The General Purposes Committee approved a recommendation to award Contract 8375P for a public shared e-scooter and e-bike program to Lime Technology, Inc. Lime’s proposal, selected from three received, scored highest based on criteria including qualifications, pricing, safety, parking management, marketing, technology, consumer protection, and sustainability. The program will maintain the existing fleet size (with potential expansion) and service areas, incorporating features like geo-fencing for parking and speed limits, helmet provision, and the Lime Access affordability program.
