Grant Recommendations and Program Overview
The General Purposes Committee reviewed the 2025 Richmond Community Celebration Grant Program. 77 applications were received, with 52 recommended for funding totaling $51,052. The recommendations were based on alignment with program objectives, inclusiveness, capacity, budget, and sustainability. Funding will support community-driven free public events between June 1 and December 31, 2025, fostering community engagement and intercultural understanding. Ineligible applications were addressed, and successful applicants will be notified and provided with necessary resources and guidance. A final report will be required from funded applicants.
